Monroe, WA – Valley General Hospital presents Make It Happen in 2010 on Tuesday, January 19 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Valley General Hospital. Dr. Christina Lee of Sky River Medical Group will be providing free educational information about weight management.

During these tough economic times, while people are losing their jobs and subsequently losing their health care coverage, preventative and routine health care screenings fall off the list of “to-dos” because of cost.

Register for the free information sessions and/or pay only $20 for an optional lab work-up. Our health care provider will help you make sense of some of the most important numbers when it comes to your health.

Learn about:

  1. Obesity: definition, trends and impact on health. Medical management of weight loss.
  2. Self-assessment of weight status. Weight loss concepts: eating plans and incorporating activity into every day that work for a lifetime.

Know your numbers!
$20 lab fee includes:

  • Lipid Panel (HDL, LDL, Cholesterol, Triglycerides)

*Blood will not be drawn on 1/19/10. You will receive a receipt of payment and may visit our outpatient lab during regular business hours.

Pre-registration is required and there are a limited number of spaces available – so register early! Call 360-794-1411. There are only 25 spaces available so pre-registration is required!
