Healing Garden
The Healing Garden Project was created to offer patients, staff and visitors a healing landscape designed to calm, soothe and inspire the soul with the beauty of nature. It is located in the center courtyard that is visible from inpatient rooms.
The Healing Garden was created by a group of community volunteers and staff who donated time and expertise to create a special landscape for patients, visitors and staff.
This project represents over 500 hours of volunteer time, including expertise from landscape professionals, landscape architect, artists, Master Gardeners and the Tualco Grange. Plants and items in the garden were donated by members of the community and staff.
If you would like to donate to the Healing Garden project, please contact Lin McIlrath, Valley General Hospital Foundation manager at 360-794-7497 ext. 304.
