Laboratory
Valley General Hospital’s Clinical Laboratory performs testing on a variety of background specimens to provide diagnostic information directed by a physician specialist in pathology and is staffed by registered medical technologists and laboratory assistants. If you live locally and need to have laboratory work done, but your healthcare provider is outside of the community, you may have your laboratory work done at Valley General with a physician’s order. VGH laboratory services are provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Valley General’s laboratory services offer convenience and quality at the same cost as other area health care facilities. Results can be sent electronically to your primary care physician, wherever they may be.

Health Drug Screen: The laboratory offers pre-employment, non-Department of Transportation, drug testing (urine screen) to businesses that are pre-registered. Employees must have signed a release of information form with their employer. Employees must also provide photo identification and a social security number.
Valley General Hospital’s Medical Laboratory is CLIA accredited and is licensed by State of Washington Department of Health.
