Cancer Registry
The Cancer Program at Valley General Hospital is supported by the Cancer Registrar, who collects data that is valuable to patients and the hospital in long-term tracking of cancer incidences. Under the guidance of the Cancer Committee, the Cancer Registry maintains data on each patient’s type of cancer, course of treatment, response to treatment, and medical status for the patient’s lifetime. The data provided by the Cancer Registry is included in state and national cancer databases.
